Research & Development

Protein kinases are critical components of cellular signaling pathways and due to their frequent deregulation in many human diseases they have become important targets for drug development. Today, structure-based design allows development of compounds that are able to target most of disease-relevant protein kinases and there is strong evidence that kinase inhibitors can become effective therapeutics.

BioPatterns has an attractive portfolio of exciting drug candidates that are advancing in preclinical development for multiple indications including cancer, tumour angiogenesis and rheumatoid arthritis. We are convinced of the highly competitive therapeutic and commercial advantages of our compounds, targeting kinases, over traditional therapeutic agents.

Business Strategy

With our limited resources focused on research and development, we plant to attract industry partners, governmental grants and private equity. Generally, we intent to cooperate and partner with strong pharmaceutical companies to translate our discoveries into clinical candidates.

The major components of our business strategy are to:

  • discover new active molecules
  • validate their molecular effects
  • profile their ADMET
    and
  • develop and commercialize our products.
